Assessor Hank Gianvecchio was first elected to the office of Bloomingdale Township Assessor in 1973 and has been re-elected eight more times since then. On January 1 st, 2006 he will begin his ninth consecutive four-year term of office.

Educational Qualifications:

Hank Gianvecchio is currently certified by the Illinois Department of Revenue as meeting all of the educational qualifications, including all continuing education requirements, as mandated by Section 2-45 of the Illinois Property Tax Code (35 ILCS 200/2-45). His educational background includes attendance and testing at over 70 classes, totaling more than 500 hours of curricula consisting of appraisal theory and practice, assessment valuation, real estate law, assessment administration, and data processing.
